Paving Next Week North of Main Street

Con Edison will be paving the following roads for restoration following their gas construction work:

•  Central Avenue
• N. Washington –central avenue to main street 
• Cottage Place
• Mechanics Avenue
• Kaldenberg Place
•  Storm Street
• Linden Place

Scheduled Dates of Work: (weather permitting)

April 11– 14, 2023 7am to 6pm

• Motorists should expect rough road conditions in preparation for the road’s new pavement.
• Expect intermittent traffic disruptions.
• Most roads will be closed during the resurfacing work.
• One lane of traffic will be maintained on Central Avenue, but motorists should expect sporadic road closures. (Access in/out of driveways/side streets may experience slight delays)
• Detours to be controlled by contractor flag persons and/or by Tarrytown PD
• Avoid travel in the vicinity of the construction zone.
