The Recreation Rundown is issued every other Friday to all subscribers to the Tarrytown Link Newsletter. The Rundown is designed to keep residents informed about Recreational news, programming, activities, and events happening in the community. We had such a great turnout by Village Departments and community volunteers who generously decorated their vehicles and gave our Trunk or Treaters loads of candy. Hocus Pocus in Pierson Park capped off a special night to kick off Halloween weekend in Tarrytown!

The beautiful weather on Saturday, October 28th brought out ghouls, ghosts, & goblins galore! Over 15,000 spectators lined Broadway and Main Street to witness the 21st Annual Tarrytown Halloween Parade. Below are just a few of our favorite shots from another memorable event.

& 1 Mile Gobbler Trot

1M Start: 9:00 AM 5K Start: 9:30 AM

Calling all runners & trotters! The Annual Trudy Dunbar Memorial 5K Turkey Trot & 1 Mile Gobbler Trot will take place this Sunday, November 19th.

Participants will trot on the Riverwalk, taking in the beautiful fall scenery while racing to win a turkey!

Pre-Registration for this event has closed, but participants may still register in person on the day of the race. Please come see us at the Tarrytown Senior Center on Sunday morning if you'd like to run!
