The Recreation Rundown is issued every other Friday to all subscribers to the Tarrytown Link Newsletter. The Rundown is designed to keep residents informed about Recreational news, programming, activities, and events happening in the community. It's a Friday the 13th in October on the eve of Scarecrow Making with Window Painting, Trunk or Treat, and the Halloween Parade right around the corner, so we wanted to take this opportunity to share some of our favorite photos of last year's October events as we look forward to all the spooky fun in store for the next few weeks. We hope you are as excited to watch the Village transform into "Halloween central" as we are!

"Hocus Pocus" Outdoor Movie in Pierson Park

Friday, October 20th at Dark

The people have spoken! More than 80 people casted their vote in our recent poll and with over 60% of the vote, our Halloween Movie in the Park will be HOCUS POCUS!

The movie will begin after Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 20th and will be shown on the big screen in Pierson Park. Please bring towels or lawn chairs to sit on the grass and dress warmly.

Registration is not required to attend.

A Special Thanks

Trudy Dunbar Memorial 5K Turkey Trot

Our annual 5K Turkey Trot will take place on Sunday, November 19th. Be sure to register by October 31st to take advantage of our discounted early registration fee. Participants who pre-register will receive a free commemorative t-shirt.
