Paving Downtown This Week: 8/1 - 8/4

Beginning tomorrow 8/1, Con Ed will be milling and paving the following streets:

•  South Washington Street from Main Street to Franklin Street

• John Street from Main Street to Franklin Street

• West Elizabeth Street from John Street to South Washington Street

The milling of the road is planned for Tuesday, August 1^st, and the paving, striping, and other work will take place on Wednesday, August 2^nd, Thursday, August 3^rd, and, if necessary, Friday, August 4^th. 

The work will take place between 7am and 6pm. Please expect lane closures and rough road conditions in preparation for the resurfacing work.

Temporary accommodations for parking will be made for residents who live on roads that are affected by the milling and paving. Parking for these residents will be allowed in the South Washington Street lot and the Broadway lot with no payment required during these days.
